Day 31: 31 Days of Halloween

Yeah!!! We made it! I hope everyone had a fun time this month. It was such a challenge just getting a post up, there was no way I had time to visit all the posts every day but I will be checking things out over the next month.

Today's final project is another domino. Using the stamp from yesterday's card I pulled the cat and pumpkin to create this hanging gem.

Here is my tree - it is a prototype, I found in the backyard and it has a great blowing in the wind look to it, but it is a bit heavy on that side too so it tends to fall over if I overload it. I have plans on making one next year with floral wire, maybe some little led lights and tape..

Isn't that skull cool? There is a place that sells glass skull candle holders and they are great but at $80 each, definitely out of my price range. But I will spend forty with it filled with vodka, rofl. Crystal Head vodka is yummy, has a bit of a vanilla taste to it - worth it with that awesome bottle. There is a tequila out there that comes in a decorated skull, would love to have some of those too. But I will be happy with a couple more of these until then. Bottoms UP!!!

That is a great tree with your Halloween ornaments (dominos - what is the plural of domino?)

I think it's terrific that you found an alternate source for the glass skull. Very creepy and lovely.

I really like the true branchy look of your tree - maybe another branch to counterbalance that one? Your domino for today is cool and the sum of them on the branches wonderful - bet the kids love it! Very interesting bottle too - on my way to the liquor store - no wait, better finish these comments first!

Fabulous domino and awesome tree! I knew exactly where your skull came from because I have a few of them at home as well :) I'll admit, I bought the vodka for the bottle, but the vodka was actually pretty good :) Perhaps you could fill the bottle with beads or marbles to weigh it down a bit?

Really cool looking branch! Great job on your hanging gem. All of these domino projects have inspired me to look up how to stamp on dominoes, since no one has said how to, and make something. I have enjoyed looking at your art all month! Thank you for sharing with us all, for 31 days! Happy Halloween!
Peace,
Kristy

Fab tree and love this last domino. Great idea using the skully bottle. I've got one too, however it is still full of vodka. No prob with that, though. LOL thanks for a month of great projects. xxD
