Have you tried UHU Twist and Glue?

if not you really should get a bottle. Recently UHU generously supplied a kit of goodies including the Twist and Glue adhesive in exchange for my opinion. Twist and Glue is really a great product that is easy to use. The top pops off to reveal a small dispensing tip, this tip is perfect when you need just a drop. But what if you need to smear glue all over a surface for better coverage? Well Twist and Glue has it covered, with just a quick twist of the area surrounding the dispensing tip a flat surface appears, just squeeze out some glue and get to smearing.

The glue works really well too. I was a bit worried since my bottle arrived during a deep freeze, with daily temps hovering at a balmy -20 degrees, but it doesn't seem to have affected it's performance.

I have had the product now about two weeks and there is maybe a 1/4 of the bottle left, so it has become my 'go to' glue. Things have really stuck, I haven't found anything that has come undone since using it, but the one drawback I have found is, like most liquid glues, papers warp or curl when applying full coverage.

This is a project I completed with the goodies UHU generously supplied with my sample bottle:

There were these neat little glass pebbles, the kind you would put in the bottom of a vase and some magnets. I attached collage sheet images from Vintage Twisted Papers (Charming Young Winged Beauties) to the back of each pebble with UHU Twist and Glue and allowed to dry. Afterwards I attached the magnet to the back of the image. After the adhesive had time to dry I popped these cuties up on the fridge. They are perfect for all the artwork the comes home each afternoon!

Check out the Sweet Pea Blog

These cards are made from Sweet Pea Stamps, more examples of the beautiful images available can be found on the design team gallery.

They were made using ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Sheet plate #20. Each one was colored with pencils (Derwent and PrismaColor). The ink is CTMH Archival Black, the first three bases use mica cardstock while the third is Club Scrap. The Winterberry prints are Basic Grey while the remaining cards use assorted fancy papers including printed mulberry and embossed. Embellish with dew drops, rhinestones, stickles and Prima flowers, add sentiments and you are done! I hope you enjoy them!

Seasonal Cards

Today's cards use the newest Seasons of Fantasy sheet #23.

These beautiful images are so easy to work with. All images are colored with pencils (Derwent and PrismaColor), while the color is still fresh I used a gummy eraser to smudge away the lines and blend. Each one was then trimmed out. A touch of clear glitter from a Sakura pen creates highlights on their hair.

This card uses DCWV Once Upon a Time papers for the base and backgrounds, the solid blue is a mica cardstock. The sentiment is a rub-on.
The image is matted on sheer pink mica paper and Club Scrap pink printed paper. The background paers are MM and Daisy D's, on a base of pink mica.
The Halloween themed card was created using printed papers, black cardstock, an Opaque White StazOn ink pad, orange brads and a white gel pen. After preparing the stamped image I matted it on black and doodled around her in a dot-dash pattern. I continued to doodle on the patterned paper for continuity. The phrase (from plate #20) was stamped using the white ink pad.

This card uses Daisy D's printed papers, red cardstock for mats and the base. The sentiment is a rub-on.
This card is made with DCWV Once Upon a Time papers, bronze mica cardstock, and wide bronze ribbon.
