Two cards to share

Hi! Thanks for stopping by today, I do appreciate and enjoy your comments! Today I have a couple cards to share...so far (if I can get motivated there maybe more or I may try to harness that energy to clean house *sigh*). But before I get going I wanted to share a wonderful blog I stumbled across a couple weeks ago. It is one of those that was mentioned elsewhere, seemed interesting and I saved it up in my toolbar. Then a few days ago I actually started visiting it, Feline Playful is a wonderful resource for finding challenge information - I really envy how much effort she must put into keeping it up! If you enjoy challenges it is a one stop place to shop - I hope you will enjoy visiting it.

yes, Valentine's is over but it isn't the only time to express affection and love now is it? This card was made with the image called A Bunch of Love by ching-chou kuik. It can be found at Sweet Pea Stamps - if you haven't checked things out there you really should, there are so many great promotions! First all stamp orders today will be entered into a drawing for a grab bag of 5 gorgeous stamps! Next, there is a card contest - use the Red Riding Hood or Alice in Wonderland images for your entry - there is even a sale on the RRH sheet of stamps! And when you place an order you are entered into a shopping spree giveaway - but you have to hurry as these offers are for a limited time.

Now, a blog candy update! I have had a lot of great responses for this month's celebration candy and with good cause - it is a fantastic package! I am 10 people shy of 100 followers - now when I hit 100 I will pull two monthly winners for the candy, which is usually 1 unmounted rubber stamp. Today I have a card featuring a beautiful angel image from Faerie Song Art Stamps. The sheet is called Angelic Dreams and it includes 8 gorgeous angels along with a few complementary images. This card was created with the sketch challenge from Priscillastyles Midnight Madness Sketch #83 and Bunny Zoes Sprinkle and Sparkle challenge - it is hard to tell but the wings have glitter accents. Spreading Christmas Cheer

Yes, Halloween hasn't even passed yet but already there are lots of gift baskets and ornament showing up in the stores. I am sure many are frantically working on cards and wanted to share these two challenges. Both use images from Sweet Pea Stamps (Elaine Cox Collection). The papers are Basic Grey, colored with copics and the ribbons are from my never ending stash.

The first card is for Stamping 411's sketch challenge.

The second is CardPatterns sketch challenge - only second because that is the order I made these little guys. The bow is made like the candy ribbon style and was a bit smushed on the scanner...so that is what it is funny looking. Hope you enjoy them!
